The City is earning high ratings for being healthy, happy and desirable — but don’t tell its critics
The city described by Republicans as a poop-infested wasteland, overrun by Marxists, drug addicts and thugs has once again been named the nation’s healthiest.
Trump blamed The City’s demise on “Marxist monsters unleashing mayhem” and offered a plan to regain control of San Francisco. Anyone who has strolled through the Civic Center or the Tenderloin knows that The City has a problem. San Francisco thought FEMA would fund COVID-19 hotels for the homeless. Now, it's unclear. But now, FEMA remains mum on major reimbursement to San Francisco.
A headline in last week’s The Hill, a widely read publication in Washington, D.C., declared “San Francisco has actually become a shining model of recovery.”
