SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — The Giants have made a late addition to their bullpen competition, announcing on Saturday evening that they’ve agreed with left-handed reliever Ryan Borucki on a one-year, major-league deal.Borucki, who turns 32 later this month, was released by the Chicago White Sox on Friday afternoon. During Cactus League play, Borucki tossed six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts for the White Sox. A 15th-round pick by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2012 MLB draft, Borucki made his debut in ’18 and has pitched in each of the last major league seasons. Borucki owns a career 4.28 ERA and 4.34 FIP over 256 1/3 innings with the Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners.
