A judge in Colorado on Wednesday dismissed child-pornography charges against a well-liked high-school principal, saying the administrator acted in good faith while investigating a case of students sexting last year.
Bradley Bass, 32, was accused of sexual exploitation of a child under a decades-old Colorado statute that says possessing explicit images of minors is equivalent to possessing child pornography, regardless of the intent of the person possessing the images.
