Troopers James Grothey, a public information officer with the Pennsylvania State Police, offered parents tips for keeping kids safe this Halloween.
The police department is investigating three pieces of candy with sewing needles found in them from the area of Pine Hill/North Locust Lane/Sunset/Marble.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Cumberland County police are investigating after sewing needles were reportedly found in a trick-or-treater's candy. According to the Silver Spring Township Police Department, on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 7:03 p.m., officers were dispatched to the first block of Pine Hill Avenue for needles found in candy distributed during trick or treat.
The department is investigating three pieces of candy with sewing needles found in them from the area of Pine Hill/North Locust Lane/Sunset/Marble.
