Strong to severe storms will be possible on Friday for much of south Alabama, according to the National Weather Service.
The southern part of Alabama could have to deal with strong to severe storms on Friday. The areas in yellow will have a Level 2 out of 5 severe weather risk. The areas in dark green will have a Level 1 risk. Rain and storms will be possible in the rest of Alabama on Friday, but no severe weather is expected.
Storms will be possible from the late morning hours through the evening on Friday, with the most likely time for storms during the afternoon.
