Severe weather largely missed the Dallas-Fort Worth area Saturday, but more storms are possible for the next few days, according to theAs of Sunday evening, multiple North Texas counties, including Dallas, Tarrant and Parker, were under a severe thunderstorm watch until midnight, the NWS Fort Worth website showed.
Monique Sellers, a NWS Fort Worth meteorologist, said officials were tracking a potentially severe storm in Parker County. Weaker thunderstorms were detected in parks of Dallas and Tarrant counties, Sellers said. “We’re expecting thunderstorms to continue developing through the area through the evening and overnight,” Sellers said, adding hail and strong wind are the main threats.
