An elevated threat for severe storms begins today in parts of the Plains – here's what you need to know:
A threat of severe thunderstorms is back in the nation's midsection and South this week.Large hail and strong thunderstorm wind gusts are the main concerns, but an isolated tornado threat is possible.to get weekday updates from The Weather Channel and our meteorologists.
We're not anticipating a widespread outbreak of severe weather like we witnessed in late March and into the first half of April. But the ingredients will be in place to generate at least some thunderstorms that could pack a punch.
