The Storm Prediction Center has stated that the most favorable area for strong tornadoes to develop will be from eastern Arkansas into northwest Mississippi and western Tennessee. The SPC has also stated that a tornado outbreak is possible across the lower and mid-Mississippi Valley.The low pressure system that is currently delivering high-elevation snow to the Cascades and Northern Rockies will work its way eastward over the next few days.
