Severance star Zach Cherry reveals the craziest fan theory he's heard about the show so far: “They all come from my dad who texts me after every episode. He’s pretty sure it’s aliens.”

Severance actor Zach Cherry reveals the wildest fan theory he's heard about the hit Apple TV+ mystery show so far. Released earlier last year, Severance tells the story of a group of employees at Lumon Industries whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and their personal lives.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Although season 1 answered a few questions, many still remain, which has led to some pretty crazy Severance fan theories about what exactly is going on at Lumon Industries. In a recent interview with AV Club, Cherry reveals that the craziest fan theory he's ever heard about the show actually comes from his own father.

Everything We Know About Severance Season 2 In addition to the core group of macrodata refiners, Severance also stars Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Tramell Tillman, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, and Michael Chernus, all of whom are expected to return in season 2.

When it comes to season 2's storyline, the Severance season 1 finale ends on a major cliffhanger that is sure to be further explored. After activating something known as the "overtime contingency protocol," which allows his outtie to "wake up" outside of work hours, Mark comes to learn that his wife, whom he believes to be dead, is actually alive and working at Lumen. It's entirely unclear how Gemma , aka Ms.

While Mark, Helly, Dylan, and Irving all made some pretty shocking discoveries in the Severance season 1 finale, their plan was ultimately found out and cut short, meaning consequences, including potentially much stricter security measures, are probably on the way in season 2. Unfortunately, it's not yet clear when the new batch of episodes will release on Apple TV+, but Lower confirmed back in October that filming on Severance season 2 is underway.
