Apple TV+'s hit show Severance promoted its upcoming season with a unique installation at Grand Central Station in New York. Actors portraying Lumon employees interacted with the public inside a glass cube, recreating the show's signature office environment.
People who were at Grand Central Station in New York during the evening commute Tuesday got an early taste of what’s to come with a special promotion for the show.The scene, which was like a living museum exhibit or art installation, definitely hyped the coming season more than any subway ad could.The characters, oblivious to the crowd outside their glass cube, talked to each other and fussed over computers and office equipment.
Earlier in the day, the promotion at Grand Central Station consisted of other actors playing Lumon employees in the glass cube office., centers on Scott’s character Mark Scout, who works at Lumon Industries and leads a double life through the severance program, which separates all of his work memories from his life outside work.
As soon as he reports to the office every day, he steps into a different version of himself — a version that is supposed to be contained to the job and the office. Apple TV+ released the first eight minutes of the season premiere in December.
