They were identified by the World Central Kitchen (WCK) less than 24 hours after reports came out on the strike carried out by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), despite previous coordination between the organization. This is not the first time humanitarian aid workers have been killed in the territory, and it follows after the United Nations ordered Israeli leaders to allow aid to residents in the Gaza Strip. "These are the heroes of World Central Kitchen." WCK CEO Erin Gore said in a statement. "Their smiles, laughter, and voices are forever embedded in our memories. And we have countless memories of them giving their best selves to the world
