Exactly three years after residents passed the city’s first parks and recreation levy, Seven Hills continues to update amenities around the community.
“Our biggest investment in our park master plan is at Calvin Park where the big items there are slated to be finished this December,” Seven Hills Mayor Anthony D. Biasiotta said.
“That’s a new one,” he said. “We did some work over there for our stormwater management. We kind of uncovered an area that we think would make a superb disc golf. Seven Hills is using its County Council award of $250,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding toward the new all-season pavilion. “This gives us the ability to have family gatherings such as graduations and similar-size parties year-round. This also provides a much-needed amenity to the north end.”
