Seven people have died in a collision between two vehicles on the R101 between Modimolle and Mookgophong in Limpopo.
Traffic authorities say the collision happened on the R101 near Sterkrivier cross road.In an earlier incident, a passenger was killed when the vehicle he was travelling in hit a trailer of a stationary truck which had blocked the N1 road outside Musina.
Traffic Spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene, says a truck towing two trailers had brake failure, lost control, and blocked the road. Authorities say a stationary truck’s last trailer was thereafter hit by a sedan as there was apparently poor visibility.
