From dry skin skin to breakouts, there's a serum for every skin concern
When it comes to your beauty regime, it can be hard to know what is and what isn’t worth your time and money – but one thing is for certain, a serum deserves a solid place in your skincare routine.
How do I use a serum? * “ It should be the first product you apply to your skin after cleansing. Serums are generally thinner in consistency than other products and contain more actives, so you get the best benefits from using them on cleansed, dry skin,” says Dr Justine Hextall, consultant dermatologist.
Tester says: “My skin is so sensitive that when I usually put a serum on, it stings. This was so soothing and I had no reaction to it. It glides on and sinks in really quickly, but leaves a moisturising film behind – which also makes my foundation look really dewy. A new must-have for me.”Containing vitamin C, exfoliating acids and brightening pigments, it promises to instantly illuminate and hydrate the skin, and also help defend against damage caused by pollution.
Tester says: “I’ve previously bought much more expensive hyaluronic serums than this one, and I’m delighted that this works just as well – if not better. After about a week of using it, my skin texture felt smoother and the flaky patches I usually wake up with around my cheeks were reduced.”After four weeks of use, 93% of testers said this supercharged serum made their skin look younger, with 91% noting a reduction in wrinkles.
