Settlement reached in lawsuit over Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse

The Justice Department settled with Singaporean firms over the Baltimore Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse incident.

The bridge collapse also claimed the lives of six people who were on the bridge when it was struck by the vessel and as it fell into the water. The wreck halted shipping into and out of Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General Benjamin C. Mizer called the settlement an "important milestone" in the DOJ's news release Thursday.
