Seton Hall will open the Big East schedule against Dan Hurley and reigning NCAA champion UConn
will open the Big East regular season at home against the reigning national champions before a tough road game three days later.and UConn on Dec. 20 at Prudential Center before heading to face Sean Miller and Xavier on Dec. 23, a league source confirmed. Five days before the Seton Hall game, UConn will travel to play Gonzaga in Seattle Dec. 15.Seton Hall opens the regular season Nov. 6 against Saint Peter’s, Holloway’s former team,s against Baylor, Missouri and Rutgers.
Under Hurley, the Huskies won the program’s fifth national championship in April over San Diego State. Hurley was rewarded with a new contract worth nearly $33 million that takes him through the 2028-29 season.
