Seton Hall announced Wednesday it hired Saint Peter's head coach Shaheen Holloway to replace Kevin Willard, who left for Maryland.
Vitale wasn’t the only basketball insider to praise Seton Hall for hiring Holloway, per Pirates PR:“What a meaningful moment for Seton Hall to have Shaheen Holloway become its next coach and leader. He has become one of the best young leaders in our sport. There is no better person to usher in a new era for Seton Hall University---not just Seton Hall basketball. Congratulations to all.”“It’s been remarkable to watch Shaheen’s growth as a coach over the last several years.
Holloway will be introduced as the Pirates head coach in a press conference on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. ET. Thank you for relying on us to provide the journalism you can trust.
