Set aside your differences and deliver services, Tshwane residents tell political parties
The Municipal Structures Act requires that the council meet and set up government structures within 14 days of the declaration of results.
Some Tshwane residents have urged the parties to get their act together so they can start delivering services. Lemao said that if the parties were taking so long to agree on a coalition, it could be a sign of things to come. Mthembu, who runs a small business selling sweets, cigarettes and cold drinks to people and motorists on Lucas Mangope Road, Shoshanguve, said that youth unemployment in the area was high.
