.sesamestreet is launching a special series to help kids manage stress and anxiety during tough times. ❤️
Sesame Workshop says it’s teaming up with the meditation app Headspace to roll out “Monster Meditations” -- a limited series of six short videos -- to help children learn new ways to manage their emotions.
The animated clips will show different Muppets experiencing a wide range of feelings, including frustration, disappointment, and nervousness, before they learn various techniques -- including“Learning the fundamentals of mindfulness early in life is an incredibly valuable skill to foster, especially at a time like this, when children and families may be experiencing higher levels of stress and anxiety,” Headspace co-founder Andy Puddicombe said in a press release.
