A disgruntled service provider has served the SA National Roads Agency with a notice to attach its assets worth R36 million.

Sanral did not oppose the legal action, which resulted in the court ruling in favour of the company and ordering that the agency pay R36 662 624.NZK Footprint intends to auction Sanral’s movable assets.Sanral spokesperson Vusi Mona said the relevant authorities at the agency were not aware of the action instituted by NZK Footprint until the judgment was presented to them recently.

“Sanral has engaged attorneys, whose instructions include doing everything necessary to prevent a disruption to the provision of services because of the attachment of its assets.
