A crash that has shut down Oregon Pike/Route 272 in Manheim Township , Lancaster County , is having an impact on the U.S. Women's Open. Video above: Headlines from WGAL News 8.The USGA was informed of the crash, which could cause delays for players, fans and volunteers at the open.Traffic, including shuttle routes for the Open, are being rerouted. Delays are 25 to 30 minutes. People are asked to plan accordingly and also have patience for first responders working at the scene of the crash.
Only drivers with authorized parking passes are allowed to access the road. Fan parking is located adjacent to Penn Cinema. A complimentary shuttle is available from the parking lot to the championship entrance. Shuttle services begin approximately 45 minutes before the first tee time each day of the championship and run until approximately one hour after play concludes.
