Travis Kelce skips 2024 ESPYs for karaoke, Serena Williams shades Chiefs teammate Harrison Butker
“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs,” the tennis champion told the star-studded crowd during her opening monologue at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles Thursday night.
“Travis and Taylor reportedly spent $100,000 a day on their romance. That’s a lot of money. That’s what I’ve been told Jaylen Brown spends on his beard,” she joked of the Boston Celtics shooting guard.Kelce and the “Fortnight” singer were both noticeably absent from this year’s annual event. “I truly hope that Bronny has a long career, so long that we see his hairline recede and then miraculously un-recede like dad,” Williams razzed.“If I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that none of us, not a single one of us, not even me, should ever pick a fight with Kendrick Lamar,” she said, referring to the rappers’ feud this year.
