Eight students are reportedly dead after a teenage student broke into class and started shooting at his peers in central Belgrade, Serbia, authorities said. A security guard was also killed, and six other students and a teacher have been hospitalized.

The seventh grade suspect was reportedly arrested. Police said he fired several shots from his father’s gun at other students and the school guard.Authorities said they received a call about the shooting at about 8:40 a.m. local time. Their investigation has only just begun.
