Proceedings at Meyiwa's trial were abruptly halted as Mosia felt unwell because of the medication he had taken earlier. Counsel agreed that the trial be postponed until Monday
Advocate Zandile Mshololo, who represents accused number five, Sifiso Ntuli, said the court could not rely on a copy of the original document.
Mosia, who is undergoing cross-examination at the Pretoria High Court regarding the process he followed when he gathered evidence at the crime scene, declared that he handed those exhibits to ballistics on October 28 2014. “You only took evidence pointed out to you by Brigadier [Philani] Ndlovu, but failed to conduct your own investigations on the people who were inside the house.”Mosia said it was standard practice during a police investigation that a police official who is first on the scene is the one who guides the rest who follow.I trusted what he said because he was a senior police member and he was the first to attend the incident.
