CLEVELAND, Ohio - A 17-year-old boy convicted of killing a 15-year-old Cleveland girl in 2022 was sentenced by Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge Cassandra Collier-Williams Thursday to 10 years in prison. Steven Fisher pleaded guilty in April to the murder of Jaiden Rose Rentas.
Rentas’s body was found inside a vehicle in the city’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood in Oct. 28, 2022. When officers arrived, they said they found the vehicle running with the windshield wipers on. Rentas was pronounced dead at the scene of a gunshot wound. Tores expressed that she would never forgive Fisher and that he was the biggest mistake of her daughters life.
