Frustration has mounted for some in the Tooele area who've faced outage after outage in recent days. Rocky Mountain Power officials said this string of blackouts is due in part to a system that prevents a more dangerous problem.
Brandon Peterson lives in Stockton, Utah south of Tooele. He says at his home for much of July he's been dealing with power outages almost every other day."It gets frustrating, you know," Peterson said. "You pay them for service but the service doesn't stay on."He said these outages have been hitting during the late afternoon. While some have lasted just an hour or two, others have gone on for 6 hours or longer.
