The purpose of the role is to work collaboratively within your team and across other teams in the business to deliver exceptional customer experiences.To work with the proposition, operations, change and development teams to assist in solving business and system issues and designing business solutions to deliver superior customer experiences and a low ‘cost to serve’ operation.
To analyse clients’ needs and produce a specification document with tangible deliverables; this covers all aspects of the solution from defining data requirements, rules and logic to apply to data, best way to store data and turning data into the information our clients need. Provide input into the impact analysis for new reporting and business solutions providing detailed development estimates, the technical feasibility of and risks associated with each solution design/project Design, develop and implement the best technique for extracting data from source systems and moving it to and through the reporting solution, adhering to internal architecture, data integration standards and best practices Adapt data integration processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new Business requirementsImplement monitoring and measurement of data quality as defined by business rules and provides data quality metrics for Data Governance trend analysisAssisting with technical architectural conceptsProduction support related to assigned bugs, driving prompt resolutionUnit Testing and Implementing fixes and changes following business and system incidents Provide proactive, on-going support to cross functional teams and team members in order to support a mature working environment, including assisting with production support and migration related tasks and issues when required. Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders in order to build trust that will help to ensure deliverables stay on track, especially linking Operations and IT teams together.Relevant Commerce degree in IT, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Investment Management, Business Management or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in a Financial Adviser firm, Financial Services Customer Service or an Investment Platform business.Experience in delivering exceptional customer service.Experience in building successful relationships and working collaboratively across departmental teams.Familiar with Agile project methodology and JIRA Service Desk processes.Experience in creating re-usable code and applying standards and best practices to that code.Working Knowledge and Experience using SSIS or similar ETL tool is a must. Working Knowledge and Experience of data warehouse development .Working Knowledge and Experience on MS PowerBI stack (PowerPivot, PowerView and PowerQuery experience.
