A male senior citizen was killed on Sunday morning after being shot by an unidentified gunman in Barangay Baritan in Malabon City.
The incident happened at around 5 a.m. along Borja Street, with residents hearing several gunshots before finding the lifeless body of the victim, according to a report by Luisito Santos on Super Radyo dzBB. The family of the victim refrained from naming him, but identified him as a resident of Sampaloc, Manila.
The Malabon City Police have been investigating the incident, but have not yet given a possible motive to the killing. They said they will review CCTV footage in nearby areas to give a lead on the suspect.
