Chris Kreider and Jacob Trouba also scored for the Rangers, who couldn't find any offense after Tarasenko's goal. The Senators outshot the Rangers 12-6 in the third when they scored three times. The Rangers went quiet late in the game on a night when Kane made his debut following his acquisition from Chicago, where he won the Stanley Cup three times.
