Located in the Dothan Courthouse and Federal Building on West Troy Street, the office serves a total of 13 counties: Butler, Crenshaw, Conecuh, Covington, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Pike, Bullock, Barbour, Henry, Houston, and Russell.
This addition brings Britt's total number of field offices to seven, with others strategically positioned in major cities across the state, including Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Anniston, Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile. Each office is staffed with a field representative who acts as a liaison between citizens and federal agencies, assisting with any issues they may encounter. Melanie Hill, a native of Dothan, will serve as the Southeast Alabama Representative from the new Dothan office. Senator Britt, who is currently in her second year of her first term, expressed her commitment to serving all Alabamians.
