PETALING JAYA: Senate president Mutang Tagal, who is being treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur, is in serious condition, according to a Sarawak deputy minister.

Mutang travelled to Azerbaijan to lead the Malaysian delegation at the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue from May 1 to 3 in Baku.However, he had to be treated there for an illness before arriving back in Malaysia on May 6 for further treatment. He was admitted to IJN upon arriving in Kuala Lumpur.
