Not much is known about the Senate’s progress as members held their discussion behind closed doors that have included all senators, including the attorney general’s wife, Sen. Angela Paxton, and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.. While senators have not signed those same agreements, none have publicly commented about the debate.
