Blue Star worked with Ukraine-based energy company Burisma at the time Hunter Biden served on its board, with the firm now facing allegations of attempting to influence U.S. policy.from Republicans of Hunter Biden's time with Burisma that largely stems from President Trump's impeachment hearings, which centered around his push for Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to publicly announce an investigation into Joe Biden's son. Beyond Hunter Biden's ties to Burisma, Trump wasfollowing the declassification of a document that showed 39 officials between November 8, 2016 and January 31, 2017 requested the unmasking of a U.S. citizen in intelligence reports that turned out to be Trump's former national security advisor Michael Flynn. While it's a routine procedure, opponents latched on to it as evidence of wrongdoing by the Obama administration.
