El Senado dio un paso decisivo este viernes al avanzar con la Ley Laken Riley, marcando un triunfo clave para los republicanos sobre su punto de vista contra los inmigrantes sin documentos legales en Estados Unidos.

Con una votación de 61 a 35, los senadores, incluidos 10 demócratas, buscan reforzar la seguridad fronteriza al exigir la detención obligatoria de inmigrantes acusados de delitos graves como robo, allanamiento de morada y agresión a oficiales de la ley.
