C. - After repeatedly naming U.S. Sen. JD Vance of Ohio as a potential vice-presidential prospect, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has begun to officially vet Vance and several other prospective running mates, numerous publications are reporting.
“Tim Scott didn’t run as good a race as he’s capable of running for himself, but as a surrogate for me, he’s unbelievable, he’s been incredible,” said Trump. “Governor Burgum from North Dakota has been incredible. Marco Rubio has been great. JD Vance has been great. We’ve had so many great people out there, Ben Carson, so many great people.”
and called the jury’s guilty verdict on 24 felony charges “a disgrace to the rule of law and our Constitution. When asked about the prospect of being Trump’s vice presidential nominee in numerous television interviews, Vance always says he’ll help Trump however he can.
