The casino, which is one of six owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, is replacing the existing Seminole Casino Brighton.
An opening ceremony will be held on February 6 to celebrate the opening of Seminole Brighton Bay & Casino.
Marty Johns, General Manager of Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino, said,"We are all eagerly awaiting our official opening on February 6. It will be such a special moment for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, the Brighton Seminole Reservation, and the entire region. This new resort is expected to increase the number of tourists to the area, which is especially important. We are excited to offer a new level of gaming, dining and entertainment.
The new property is set to feature a smoke-free gaming space that will be home to 104 different slot machines and a high-limit gaming area with 42 slot machines and four table games. The resort will also cover 38,000 square feet, with players having access to a total of 640 slot machines and 18 tables for blackjack, craps, roulette, and various other house-banked card games. Opening new casinos is not the only way the Seminole Tribe has been changing communities in Florida.in November.
In addition, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa converted its Event Center into a shelter, providing refuge and safety for individuals affected by the storms. Likewise, the casino delivered more than 1,000 meals to shelters throughout Tampa.
