Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause explains the fallout with Emma Hernan over alleged remarks made by Hernan's MAGA boyfriend that caused the rift
Eagle-eyed Selling Sunset fans who have noticed a disconnect between Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan are apparently not imagining things. The pair’s friendship is reportedly on the rocks, according to a Friday, May 23 comment in which Stause addressed the apparent fallout on Instagram after she was asked about the status of the pair’s friendship.
“Ask her about her MAGA bf who told me pronouns are dumb,” Stause claimed, referring to the conservative political movement made popular by current President Donald Trump. Stause went on to accuse Hernan’s partner of using a racial slur. “I just can’t with that,” she continued. “Too old to allow that in. But love her from afar.”Hernan was most recently dating real estate developer Blake Davis, but it appears the pair have ended their relationship. Stause did not publicly name Hernan’s so-called MAGA boyfriend. Stause, for her part, is married to G Flip, who uses they/them pronouns. Back in December, Hernan told Us Weekly that her boyfriend at the time had stood up for her after her castmates failed to support her amid accusations she was having an affair with a married man. “I was very grateful because he knew what happened and what they did to me. He was super upset and very supportive and felt awful for me,” she told Us at the time.. “Especially because he went and filmed and put himself out there as well, and they cut everything.” She added that it was upsetting that scenes relating to her personal life didn’t air on the show. “There’s a few scenes where I have a bite mark on my arm and they try to play it like they don’t know who it is,” she said. “But we all know who it is. There’s a few scenes that if you go back in the season and kind of pay attention to what they did now, it’s super messed up.”“As it is, I’m not super comfortable showing my personal life and relationship. Then I go ahead, I do it, and regardless, your relationship is going to be judged,” she noted. “I want people to connect with me and I want people to see my real life and know what I’m doing. Then they cut my real life and go to this life that has zero truth to it and then I don’t even know about it!”
