A Selden man was arrested on Sunday, February 2nd for allegedly burglarizing nine businesses on Long Island between November 2024 and February 2025. Police say the suspect, identified as Parise, smashed windows and stole cash and coins. He is facing nine counts of third-degree burglary and additional charges for attempted burglary and petit larceny.

Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call for a burglary at a Subway at 668 Middle Country Road in Selden, just before 10 a.m. Sunday. Officers said the suspect smashed the front glass window and stole cash from the register and coins from a donation jar.During the investigation, police linked Parise to a total of nine similar burglaries and one attempted burglary over the last four months.
Police also charged him with petit larceny for allegedly stealing money from a donation box at a McDonald's at 2324 Route 347 in Stony Brook on Dec. 26, 2024.Law enforcement confirms Parise was arrested for a string of similar burglaries four years ago.
