PETALING JAYA: Selangor FC memanfaatkan peluang beraksi di gelanggang sendiri di Stadium Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya di sini apabila berjaya menumpaskan Kuching City 2-1 sebentar tadi.
Selangor hampir berada di hadapan pada minit ke-11 menerusi Faisal Abdul Halim namun, rembatan leretnya dari dalam kotak penalti berjaya dihalang penjaga gol Kuching City, Shaiful Wazizi Mohamad. Keputusan 1-0 kekal sehingga wisel penamat separuh masa pertama, bersambung babak kedua Cheng membuat pertukaran dan dengan menggantikan Ayron dengan Yohandry Orozco untuk menguatkan barisan hadapan.
Tersentak dengan gol berkenaan, Kunching City yang dibimbing oleh Irfan Bakti memperkemaskan rentak permainan dan mereka berjaya merapatkan kedudukan pada minit ke-89 menerusi Amir Amri Salleh.
