kualalumpur MESKIPUN ada jangkitan Covid-19 direkodkan membabitkan murid sekolah di Sabah, kawasan sekolah dalam negara ketika ini masih selamat berikutan tiada jangkitan berlaku dalam kalangan pelajar dan guru yang dikesan berlaku di sekolah.

Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah mengakui laporan kes positif Covid-19 membabitkan murid sekolah di Sabah, Isnin lalu, namun jangkitan wabak itu berlaku di luar sekolah.

Dalam pada itu, ketika Sesi Libat Urus Media dalam menangani pandemik Covid-19 di Kuala Lumpur, hari ini, Dr Noor Hisham menjelaskan, kawasan sekolah masih selamat untuk murid dan pelajar. "Sekolah juga satu risiko tetapi kita boleh uruskan, kalau ada kes di sekolah memang kita saran tutup sekolah terbabit," katanya.

"Sampai bila kita tidak boleh membenarkan sekolah beroperasi. Tetapi dari 10 Jun sehingga hari ini, tiada kes dikesan di sekolah, jadi sekolah masih kawasan yang selamat.
