Elfman has revealed who his “The Nightmare Before Christmas” live-to-film concert performance co-stars will be on Oct. 27-29 in Los Angeles.
Actor-musician Fred Armisen will play the role of Lock, actor-singer Riki Lindholme will play Shock, and Ken Page returns as Ooogie Boogie, according to a statement from the producers with details of the casting for the shows slated for Oct. 27-29.for “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” will perform the role of Jack Skellington during the live shows to accompany screenings of the film at the Hollywood Bowl take place.
Fred Armisen, best known for his years in the cast of “Saturday Night Live,” will play Lock all three nights. In past years, the late Paul Reubens, best known as Pee-wee Herman, handled that part. The shows will also feature vocalists Randy Crenshaw, Angie Jarée, Baraka May, Greg Proops and Fletcher Sheridan. Violinist Sandy Cameron is back again with the Skeleton Trio Entr’acte. And a choir and orchestra led by conductor John Mauceri will back everyone.What’s closed for Indigenous Peoples Day or Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 9, in the LA area
