Shyamalan's latest thriller is set at a remote cabin. South Jersey fit the bill for the production.
Production took place in Tabernacle, the Pine Barrens township home to Apple Pie Hill.
Joining Bautista in the cast are Jonathan Groff , Ben Aldridge , Nikki Amuka-Bird , young newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn and Rupert Grint .In the film, the girl and her parents are on vacation at the cabin when the two men are taken hostage by Bautista’s character and the three others, who have weapons .
“See, the four of us have a very important job to do,” Bautista’s character says. “In fact, it might be the most important job in the history of the world.” “The four of us are here to prevent the apocalypse,” he tells the two restrained men and their daughter. “Your family has been chosen to make a horrible decision. If you fail to choose, the world will end.”“
