If you're dying to see the Tesla Cybertruck in person while in Penang, you're in luck. Starting 21 June and till 30 June, the vehicle, along with the Model 3 Performance and Model Y, will onsite on the island.
Specifically, Tesla is pitching up a tent at the Ground Floor Centre Atrium at Gurney Plaza in George Town, and the Cybertruck will be there for the public to get up close and personal, during the mall's operating hours.If you can't catch the Cybertruck up on those dates, fret not. After 30 June, the cars will still be in Penang, but it will shift to the Queensbay Mall for its second showcase, starting from 2 July until 14 July.
Tesla has been aggressively pushing its presence in Malaysia, ever since it officially opened up shop in October last year. Since then, the brand has opened its first service centre in the country, along with many charging stations across multiple states. In fact, Penang is one such state, playing house to three charging sites at current. These sites are located at The Ship Campus, All Seasons Place, And Sunway Carnival. Totalling 12 Wall Chargers, and four V3 Superchargers.
