'This is my dream, to talk to you,' SZA tells Biles. Back home in Jersey, she was a gymnast.
In the promotional video for the Olympics, she meets Biles and manages to outlast the gold medal winner in a casual handstand contest.
“That was so good!” Biles tells the Grammy-winning Jersey talent after her impressive display of balance and stamina.“This is my dream, to talk to you,” SZA tells Biles, 27. “I’m not even kidding. I was so hype ... you’re like my wildest dream.” Biles asks the singer about her background in gymnastics. SZA says she put her energy into music after she realized she wasn’t going to go national as a gymnast.
“I was nowhere near as cool as you,” she tells Biles. “I just have never seen anything like you ... no one has.”Biles, who is headed to the games to compete as part of Team USA, has won a total of seven Olympic medals in gymnastics, including five at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, two of which were individual gold medals for the all-around, floor and vault, in addition to the gold shared by the team.
