Today, the first lady unveiled the grand holiday decorations at the White House to the public. Corresponding with the theme of “We The People”—the first line of the Constitution—each room is fantastically adorned with holiday accents that reflect the shared traditions of our diverse country.

The Red Room is covered in candles, cranberries, as well as orchids, the light symbolic of hope and faith. Meanwhile, the East Room is filled with snow-covered trees, and its fireplace mantels feature scenes from the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, the Great Smoky Mountains, as well as Shenandoah National Park.
