A security guard pulled a gun early Monday morning on a group of striking Boeing machinists at the company's distribution center in SeaTac, according to KCSO.

Boeing Machinists Union member Stephanie Corona waves to passing traffic while on the picket line at the Everett plant, Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, in Everett, Wash. said KCSO Public Information Officer Brandyn Hull. After protesters reportedly blocked access to the property, the security guard drew a gun as he left the premises.

"This was an unacceptable incident, and the contract security guard involved will not return to Boeing," Boeing told KOMO News in a statement. "We respect our employees’ right to picket peacefully and believe everyone should feel safe."The KCSO did not confirm if the guard pointed the gun at anyone. The scene was cleared and the investigation is now closed, according to Hull.
