Diana — who died in 1997 at the age of 36 — claimed on the record that Charles had expressed his sadness to her stepmother, Raine Spencer, at Harry’s christening back in 1984. “Ever since that day, the shutters have come down,” she added. “That’s what he does when he gets somebody answering back at him.”
