Last month, AmaZulu decided to offer their coach Romain Folz a new long-term contract to run until June 2026.As confirmed by the club president Sandile Zungu, the deal is part of the vision to build the team for 2032, to be a force to be reckoned with in Mzansi. Due to disappointing results in recent matches under the French-Moroccan, indications from sources are that some of the senior players could be affected by the planned changes at the KwaZulu-Natal giants.The likes of Lehlohonolo Majoro and Ramahlwe Mphahlele could be affected by the changes, according to sources.
“AmaZulu chairman is trying to build a legacy for the club in the same way that Dr. Patrice Motsepe did with Sundowns. When coach Pitso started at Sundowns, there were complaints from some people due to the results but the coach left a legacy there. Rulani is building a legacy and you can see in the way he can even play a 16-year-old player in a game. That is a good investment for the country.
