After spending months receiving critical medical care after separation surgery, the second twin in the pair went home Friday to join her sister.
“They’re doing good; they sleep at night time,” mother Amanda Arciniega said of her babies’ arrival home. “They’re great, it’s a blessing and I’m happy.”
“We’ve been together before, but today is different,” Hayes said. “Winter transitioned into spring. Our inside venue shifted out. A story that began with an uncertain ending now has a new beginning.” “Amie gave us a few little curveballs, which kept her around a little bit longer, but she’s just 6 months old, so we’re pretty happy with that time of course,” Iglesias said, who recalled crying last week during her release from the NICU.
“To get to see them with their loving family and to be all together is just the ultimate for us,” Iglesias said.
