Police announced on Wednesday a second arrest and charge in a deadly August shooting at an AutoZone store on Sancus Boulevard.Police arrested had previously charged Zackeyis Davis, 22, with aggravated murder in the death of Alejandro Fajardo-Torres. Fajardo-Torres was killed on Aug. 24 around 5 p.m. at the automotive parts retail store. On Wednesday, police said Darius Wynn, 28, was charged with murder.
Officers responded to the 8300 block of Sancus Boulevard on reports of a shooting and found Fajardo-Torres, 43, suffering from gunshot wounds. A second victim at the scene was suffering from blunt-force trauma, police said. Columbus fire personnel pronounced Fajardo-Torres dead at the scene.Fajardo-Torres reportedly was shot after attempting to stop the robbery.
